PROFESSIONAL HOME INSPECTION SERVICES NYS HOME INSPECTOR LIC # 16000093769
A home inspection is a non – invasive examination of the current condition of a home. Our home inspections are conducted by a New York State licensed home inspector who has the training and certifications to perform inspections.
Once the inspection is complete we will leave the home, prepare and email a easy to read written report including detailed pictures of our findings within one day of inspection. Water quality and radon tests take a few days for lab to return results which will be added to the report and emailed to you.
When you receive our report you will be able to make an informed decision on the pending real estate transaction.
In New York State a home inspector must be licensed and follow the state’s Standards of practice “SOP’s as well as the code of ethics that home inspectors adhere to. Please click the link to be taken to the most up to date guide lines.

What we are inspecting during a home inspection.
Septic inspection is not a service we provide, although we will be running water thru plumbing system in home to insure septic can handle it. We recommend having a septic company there at the same time as the home inspection to check septic and leach field system.
Why have your water tested ?
Having a water quality test will determine if the water supply to your home has contaminants or bacteria in it. An example would be "are you septic and leach field located more than 100ft from the well"? Another example "Is your well up to date, to prevent contaminants from entering the well shaft"? Water should be tested annually.
When should water be tested?
Water quality testing is an ancillary service not included in home inspection but can be added for an additional fee. We work closely with a third party company for testing and service results.
What is Radon ?
Radon is a radioactive gas. It comes from the decay of uranium found in nearly all soils. The way radon typically enters the home is thru cracks or holes in the home’s foundation. Radon can also be in the homes water supply and be released when you run water. You cannot see, smell or taste radon and is the second leading cause of lung cancer according the EPA. The EPA recommends homes be fixed if the radon level is 4pCi/L “picocuries per liter” or more.

What is a Pre-Listing inspection?
A Pre-Listing home inspection is basically the same as your typical home inspection. A Pre- Listing inspection can help you get ahead of issues a buyer might find in the home and reduce the chances of the deal falling through. Benefits of a Pre-listing inspection are.
What is a new construction warranty?
To protect yourself before your home warranty expires, Bucci Enterprises will inspect your new house prior to your final walk through with the Builder’s Customer Service Representative and at the 11th month of ownership.
You will receive a complete inspection report that details the defects within your new house. This document shall be used as your talking points when discussing with your builder what items should be considered for repair prior to expiration of your new home warranty.
What is a well flow test ?
When buying a home without access to a municipal water supply, you should consider having the water flow tested to determine if the water supply will meet the needs of the household. Nothing is more disheartening then buying a home and then discovering that you will need to have a new well drilled. While the test only establishes the reliability of the water supply at the time of inspection, it can give a home buyer a indication of the volume of water at hand.
